We make our pet foods in smaller batches so we can closely monitor quality, and our manufacturing facilities are certified to food-grade standards by the American Institute of Baking.

And you won’t find a single artificial chemical preservative in any Precise pet food.

For example, the high quality protein in Precise comes from real chicken meat. It’s dehydrated, and it appears on the labels as “chicken meal.” Many other brands use “chicken by-product” protein which may include lower quality protein such as chicken feet or heads. This is much harder for your pet to digest.

The fat in pet food is critical for energy and for proper development of skin and coat. Precise uses clarified, pure chicken fat in all our formulas. It’s the most efficient fat available, and it’s rich in linoleic and arachidonic acids. And Precise is naturally preserved with vitamin C and vitamin E. These natural antioxidant vitamin preservatives are good for your dog. The fact is we’ve never used artificial chemical preservatives in any of our products, and we never will. So rest assured your dog will never ingest preservatives like ethoxyquin, BHA, or BHT.

Precise also adds some very important extras that aren’t found in most pet foods:

• Lecithin. It contains essential fatty acids. These fatty acids, along with our pure chicken fat, give your pet a shiny, healthy-looking coat.

• Ester-C® brand vitamin C. A special patented brand of vitamin C.

• Yucca schidigera extract. This natural ingredient from desert plants reduces the ammonia odor in urine and feces.

• Chelated minerals. They’re more easily absorbed than ordinary minerals into the bloodstream. This way, your pet is sure to get the micro minerals he needs (like zinc, iron, manganese, cobalt, and copper).

Our rigorous quality control procedures also help protect the health of your pet. Every ingredient that we use and every batch of pet food that we make is thoroughly tested. If they don’t meet our specifications, they’re rejected. Period.
